About Nancy Yen Shipley
Dr. Nancy is an orthopedic surgeon and partner at Multnomah Orthopedic Clinic. She obtained her B.A. in Psychology from UCLA and her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine, later completing her orthopedic residency at Virginia Commonwealth University and fellowship in arthroscopy and sports medicine at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia.
She has also served as a team physician for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team and other athletic organizations and co-founded the non-profit SpeakUpOrtho to promote diversity in surgical specialties. She hosts the popular podcast "The 6% with NancyMD" and is a featured contributor on notable medical platforms.
